4. Services We Use
We use a small number of providers to run this website. They process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above.
- Plausible Analytics (EU-hosted): privacy-friendly analytics. It uses no cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not track you across websites.
- Formspree: receives newsletter sign-ups from the form on this site.
- Google Fonts: serves the typefaces this site uses. Your browser requests the fonts from Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request.
- Hostinger: hosts this website.
- Our email provider: stores emails you send to us.
We may also disclose personal data if the law requires it, or to a buyer or successor if our business is ever sold or reorganised, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
5. International Transfers
Some of our providers, such as Formspree and Google, may process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How Long We Keep It
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, after which we remove your address from our list.
- Emails: for as long as we need them to deal with your message and any follow-up, and then we delete them.
- Analytics: aggregated statistics only, which do not identify you.
- Hosting logs: kept by our host for a limited period for security and operation.
7. Your Rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your data
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it
To use any of these rights, email hello@comun.ai. We will reply within one month.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, we keep the personal data we hold to a minimum, and we limit access to it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
